When you combine all of the excitement and dreams of Route 66 and the family fun of Disney, you get the fantastic Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe. All of over the resort you can feel the warmth and authenticity of the American Southwest with registration plates and similar merchandise decorated around the complex. Fittingly, every room is bright, colourful and themed on Disney Pixar’s Cars. If you haven’t brought your own Lightning McQueen, you can easily get to the parks via a pleasant 20 minute walk or a short shuttle ride from your doorstep.

TBefore you head out or when you get back, make sure to take advantage of the incredible cuisine on offer at Hotel Santa Fe. La Cantina will make you feel like you truly are in a Route 66 diner with a delicious range of Tex-Mex food and International tastes. Make sure you check out the Rio Grande Bar too which is inspired by the colourful sights along the real Rio Grande River. You can find other great things at this resort such as a Trading Post to grab all of your holiday essentials as well as any souvenirs you might have forgotten in the parks. There is an indoor play area for the younger ones where they can continue exploring outside of the parks and a huge breakfast buffet where you can fuel yourself and your family for all of the thrills that lay ahead!
