World Cup Fever - 10 Destinations to Watch the Games

With the World Cup in full flow, we have already seen penalties, red cards, controversies and even some England goals!

Most of the tournament is still ahead of us with plenty more mouth-watering action to look forward to. If you happen to be in any of these great locations and are looking for somewhere to watch the games, look no further!

Today we have for you 10 holiday destinations and 10 great places to watch the football...

Benidorm – Costa Blanca – White Star

While almost the whole of Benidorm will be showing the World Cup, White Star is our pick of the bunch. With a 30ft screen showing the games in the pool area, there aren’t many other opportunities to watch England while chilling in the pool with a cocktail in hand.

Majorca – Palma Nova – JJ’s Sports Bar

JJ’s Sports Bar is the number one place to be for all England games in Majorca. Get carried away with England’s hopes of winning as you set up camp at the bar amongst over 100 England flags that the bar has. This bar is also showing every single game of the World Cup and has some great drinks offers including buckets of beer.

Tenerife – Los Cristianos – Taylor’s Lounge

A massive sportsbar featuring 18 TV screens to make sure you don’t miss any of the action from wherever you are sat. Bask in a halftime pint in the sun from just €2 while you recover from all of the excitement.

Paris – Trocadero

The only place that isn’t a bar on our list, if you are in Paris then head to the Trocadero which is the large grass area by the Eiffel Tower. Not only is there an unrivalled atmosphere and 50 m2 big screens to watch the games, but there is plenty of space to kick your own ball around and recreate the England goals you saw the night before…

Marmaris – Icemeler – Scotia Bar

Marmaris, Turkey is home to a huge variety of bars showing the World Cup games. Crete – Elounda – Malibu Bar

The number one place for the World Cup in Crete, Malibu bar has rightfully gained its reputation for great drinks, great weather and even better England performances (hopefully). There are multiple screens in the bar to ensure you always have a great view and every game is being shown!

Algarve – Albufeira – Bella Vista Sports Bar

Located right by the popular Brisa Sol hotel, the Bella Vista Sports Bar is home to cheap beer, a relaxed atmosphere and of course, World Cup games. Grab yourself a large beer for just €1.90 and play a bit of pool during the half time breaks. It is also has its own set of beach volleyball courts if you have had enough of the football and fancy trying your hand at a different sport.

Amsterdam – Coco’s Outback Pub

One of the coolest venues in the whole of Amsterdam, Coco’s Outback pub is the number one place to watch the games. The outdoor terrace is always packed with people and features 4 massive televisions. If the weather takes a turn for the worse or you just fancy a cool-off, you can head inside to watch the games and order native beer from Australia and New Zealand from the very extensive menu.

Cyprus – Ayia Napa – Linekers Bar

The famous Linekers Bar is well-known by all of the regular visitors to Ayia Napa and its reputation for being the best sports bar around continues into the World Cup. The bar is always packed when the football is on, especially when England play which is a sight to behold. Make sure you get stuck into the wide variety of drinks offers they have too which include cocktails, shots and beer!
