Love Island has returned for its fifth series, and early numbers suggest the show is set to reach peak levels of viewing figures after the opening episode was watched by 3.7 million people.
In the past, Love Island's influence has been known to boost levels of travel to the show's setting of Majorca, and this year is expected to be no different.
So where is the show filmed? The location of the villa is in a small village on the south-east coast of Majorca called Ses Salines, just 30 minutes away from Cala d'Or. The area is renowned for its stunning marina and beautiful beaches. The residence itself features an open-air kitchen, outdoor gym and jacuzzi for the residents to enjoy during their stay.
The villa is privately owned, so unless you've signed up to be a contestant for next year it is very unlikely you will ever get see the place up close and personal.
If you have no plans to apply for next year's series, I’m sure we can tempt you with our own other stunning Majorca accommodations instead. From family-friendly hotels in Callas de Majorca to beachfront beauties in Santa Ponsa, there are a wide variety of luxury hotels across the island to make you feel like you're the star of your own show.
