The best autumn staycations across the UK

With summer travel in doubt, autumn may be the first opportunity we get for a holiday or staycation.

The government is considering introducing a new bank holiday - possibly near the October half term - to give the tourism industry a much needed economic boost and to give the public a chance to take a staycation.
